Over the years, I have taught in several universities including Charisma University, California State University, San Bernardino to further my research interest and impact knowledge to others. I have taught courses such as Health Information management, Human Resources in Healthcare Administration, Cultural Diversity Management in Healthcare, Managed Care organizations, Medical Care Organizations and others. I have in all endeavours worked to contribute my quota to the development of the health sector of this country as a Public Relations officer at Al-Shifa Clinic, San Bernardino, CA, Health Information Management Specialist at Prime Healthcare, Ontario, CA, Health Information Management Tech at Desert Valley Hospital, Victorville, CA, among others.

I began my journey toward building a career in Healthcare Administartion as a volunteer at St. Mary Medical Center where I served as both a Dietary Department Aid and Medical Surgery Department Aid while I was working on my undergraduate degree in Biology.

During the last year and a half of my undergraduate career, I became a Quiznos franchise owner and ran my store as owner, operator, and team member for the next 2 years. It was towards the end of those 2 years that it hit me. All of my experience thus far has lead me to the realization that I was drawn to healthcare systems, management, research, leadership and entrepreneurship.

After I dissolved my first business, I set out on my journey through academia and healthcare administration. I worked for various different companies in different areas of healthcare administration including: Health Information Management, Office Coordinatordination and leadership, and Public Relations for not for profit companies. I completed a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration and am currently a Doctorate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Services Admnistration and Leadership candidate.

To further my endeavers in entrepreneurship, my husband, Nnamdi Okorafor, and I have embarked on numerous ventures in healthcare organizations as well as in the lifestyle and hospitality industries.
