The fundamental reason for Freed Creative is people always say, "I'd love to use Linux but there's no Adobe software" or other software for creative work such as design, music creation or game dev. (The other reason people give is access to gaming, but Gaming on Linux already has that covered.)
Getting you setup for creative work on Linux is the number one priority. You shouldn't have to be stuck choosing between only two operating systems just because you do creative work. And you shouldn't have to give up or risk your privacy.
The second reason is that libre / FOSS is the model of software that gives the person using it the maximum amount of freedom. Freedom in tools is the norm for developers, but creative professionals and hobbyists deserve to have software freedom too.
The third reason is that Linux & FOSS make software affordable because most of it is free or low price. Creative software should not be restricted only to those with comparatively high incomes.
