Use Krita to Remove Backgrounds, Cut Out Images of Hair, Trees & Anything Else - 7 Techniques

This is the first video in a series of "Photoshopping with Krita" videos I'll be producing to show you how to do tasks commonly done with Photoshop or Affinity Photo, but instead using the incredible open, community driven software Krita.

Photo manipulation is basically all done with just three techniques:

1. Cutting things out
2. Reshaping things
3. Adjusting color & lighting

If you can do these three things you can make virtually anything, so this short series will show you how to handle these three things using Krita, starting with how to cut things out.
