As I navigate the loss of my mom in 2024, my thoughts have dwelt on the importance of a meaningful legacy. Resolution isn't found in a moment of mourning or celebration. To honor her legacy of giving is to continue it. So what's an indie filmmaker son to do?

In today's remote work and downsized landscape, apprenticeship is nearly extinct. Drawing from my solo journey from small-town Kansas to NYU film school and my experiences working with director Robert Altman in Hollywood, my channel is committed to reviving the tradition of apprenticeship in the digital age. Altman was a great mentor and friend who gave me the courage to let my path to veer freely from the system and avoid the degraded outcome we all see today.
