Furiosa Fixed In Two Minutes

This was a film no one was asking for, many years too late. However, it is George Miller and he has a loyal fanbase...of men. He's got a simple formula and the film gives the audience what they want, after about a half-hour of backstory about Furiosa's secret Amazonian paradise and her kidnapping.

It seems to me this was a marketing misstep, as they could have split this from the actual movie and used it as a bonus story, released on YouTube or Amazon as a free preview. It would have boosted the premiere of the film and cut down the running time - just sayin'.

So, this isn't a complicated rework, just taking the kidnapping story and finding the appropriate place to do a montage summarizing the important moments, and of course, the seed. That's it. Edit room overdrive...Witness me!

If you actually start the movie with her mother's defiant death, we know all we need to know for a story of revenge. There's nothing left to rework, as the film from this point is solid. I don't like the Tarantino chapter motif though, but that's me. Let me know what you think. @alincolnlim #filmrehab
