Why programmers prefer the command line?

I share with you the reasons that have made me more interested and invested into command line tools and utilities as a programmer. because I was thinking that command line is just a waste of time and to show off, but as my experience and learning goes, I have compiled a lot of reasons that made me look at the ability to use command line tools as a golden skill worth learning especially for me as a programmer. But I also pointed GUI tools advantages, because both GUI and CLI tools are valuable, but we just should know when it's suitable one over the other?

Bottom line: I think that whenever am thinking about a process that can be automated either today, or tomorrow, and also tasks that needs a lot of typing and repetitive and actions that can be defined logically I would prefer CLI over GUI.
