Session is great for the average person. I use session and recommend it to my family members and friends (most use it to contact me). Session is easy to setup for the average person and has great connectivity.

Tox (qTox) is something I would prefer to use for desktop as the Session desktop feels a bit bloated at first. When I started to use session more on desktop, I got used to it. Tox is easy to create multiple identities and switch between them. Session is harder to do that.

I am usually decentralized E2EE or go home!
