DIY Current Probe
In this episode I set out the make a simple DIY current probe circuit that can be used to measure currents by inserting it into a circuit. The probe needs to be isolated from the circuit of course, so how can this be done?
I added the eagle job for this project under the following link, in case anybody wants to play with it: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1LmOtMRTbtf4zz1o4ZB2WY7Ddbzq57KCb?usp=sharing If you plan on assembling it just make sure the supply of the op amp is routed correctly, if you use the MCP6001 there are 3 versions of supply pin connection (MCP6001, MCP6001R, MCP6001U), I'm not sure which is in the attached job, and which you can get.
