LR44 replaced with a capacitor

I always wanted to try this, today I had time. Can you replace a coin cell with a capacitor (0.5F)? If so, how long will it last?

I designed a quick PCB and soldered the extremely small AP7354-15FS4-7 LDO regulator to a capacitor with a buffer capacitor.

The caliper lasted exactly 10 minutes and the circuit recharges within 3(!) seconds from a 5V supply.

Ich wollte das schon immer ausprobieren, heute hatte ich mal Zeit. Kann man eine Knopfzelle mit einem Kondensator (0.5F) ersetzen? Wenn ja, wie lange hält diese dann durch?
