Wilhelm Lyons - Everlasting Problem In Consciousness (Full Album)

"Everlasting Problem In Consciousness" can be considered a prequel/spin-off to "Everywhere at The End, Again: Reincarnation". It is inspired by The Caretaker's "An Empty Bliss Beyond This World", which precedes the original "Everywhere at The End of Time".

Instead of dementia caused by Alzheimer's Disease, "EPIC" is based on a different incurable illness - Parkinson's Disease.

Even though the progress of Parkinson's Disease symptoms can be described with "Stages" (Hoehn and Yahr scale), this album does not follow the Stage-structure used in EATEOT or EATEA:R. Instead, it tries to represent various symptoms of PD and Parkinson's disease dementia (PDD) through variously distorted melodies and drones.

PD primarily affects the motor system first (tremor, slowness, difficulty with walking), but with time it starts to cause cognitive problems, depression, anxiety, insomnia, problems with planning and attention, psychosis, and even hallucinations/delusions. Fortunately, timely treatment can reduce the effects of the symptoms.
