Hello and welcome to this tutorial on how to set up and run your own Minecraft server.
This is a step by step and easy to follow tutorial that assumes you have very little knowledge of the server installation and will explain everything in easy to comprehend words.
In this third step you will find out how to start and connect to your server and how to run an efficient and fast server.
To find your IP, try to google "what is my IP" or use a Command Prompt and type
ipconfig /all
then find the line with IPv4
To use the whitelisted server, use the commands:
whitelist add USERNAME or whitelist remove USERNAME
your My Server.bat file should have this: javaw -Xms1024m -Xmx1024m -jar "c:\Minecraft Server\minecraft_server.1.7.9.exe"
Don't forget to change the c:\ pathway to the one where you put your Minecraft server file
