Jr Android Developer codes a to do app in kotlin part 3

Second of many live streams of my coding. This project is a to-do app that is only for 24 hours. Most of what we need to do is for the current day. If we don't get it done we'll just keep pushing it off. Once the 24 hours is up. The tasks get archived. Makes you feel like you gotta do it now or it's gone kinda feeling.

We've already build a project, setup git, got some dependencies going, need to build out navigation and figure out the best way to build this app.

I'm looking to continue to grow my skills and I've found that I really don't have a whole lot that follows a really good structure just thrown together code. So I figured I'd just go live and code and see who pops in to hang out. I'm open to learning from those in the chat and getting to know you all it'll be fun. Let's code to a better future.

The reason I'm doing this is that I'm trying to get a job as an Android Engineer to help my family. Not just my wife and I and our dog. My mother, brother, and sister. COVID has affected us all, but I need to help my family so by growing my skills and getting a better J-O-B I can do that. My mom has health issues and so I'm really just trying to help take care of her. As my brother was in the oil field he lost his job and working with his hands is all he knows. He's been injured a few times and I want to be able to give them a gift. My mother is the reason I'm alive. When I was born the docs said I wouldn't live or make it. She fought to keep me alive. I'm doing this for her. My brother helped me a lot when I was young. Challenged me and encouraged me. I wouldn't be where I am today without them.
