If you are looking for an easy to understand explanation of what Internet of Things is in 2021, than you came to the right place. The Internet of Things 2021 (IoT for short) describes a network of physical, inanimate objects AKA "things" that are embedded with sensors, software, and other technologies that are used for the purpose of connecting and exchanging data with other devices and systems over the Internet.
