Extreme Outlaw, Extreme Planet, Extreme fun. Well, for me anyway. They added new startup options, so of course I'm starting over. It's similar to a fugitive run, with a few changes.

Starting in Calypso (harsh planet with storms) No tutorial No starter ship No visiting any buildings No space stations No anomaly

I can trade with black market ships and buy their ships, or find a crashed ship. I can get multi tools at sentinel pillars or camps. All other tech is from crashed ships, grave sites, or monoliths.
