✅ What to Ask For When Getting a Trim - Come to The Hairdresser With Me

Today we are going down to Phoenix and Fire to visit Josh and I'm going to be asking for a trim on all of the hair that I've actually been growing out. So for like the 17 or 16 months that I've been growing my hair out, I've never cut the sides and back. So it's actually time to do that, because in a few of my hair growth check-ins I've been saying that the ends have been getting really frazzly. And not only that, I kind of want to even it out and get a propper hairstyle going.

I also thought it might be rather informative for you guys if I show you how I ask Josh for what I want as knowing what to ask the hairdresser can be a little tedious.

To be honest, I think the relationship with your hairdresser is super important for this kind of thing because they are the professional and you should both be able to communicate what’s needed and what’s not possible without it being a hassle. If you are one of those people who go from hairdresser to hairdresser, it may be because you haven’t found one you trust completely or have a good relationship with.

By trusting Josh’s opinion, I’m able to walk in there and tell him what I’m thinking and he’ll give me his opinion on what the best thing to do will be. From there I can make a decision on whether that suits me or not but the main point is, there’s no awkwardness. I just tell him what I want, he tells me what he thinks and if there’s anything I don’t agree with I’m able to voice it without feeling awkward.

You’ll see in this video that’s exactly what I did. I kinda just said, look, I want this evened out and he just clarified what I meant by that and suggested what he thinks will be the best suit.

My question for you in this video is, what kind of relationship do you have with your hairdresser? Is it a strong open one, or do you jump around from hairdresser to hairdresser?
