Testing Rogaine for Beard Growth - Rogaine Reviews

Is using Rogaine for beard growth beneficial? Well, sit tight, we’re about to find out.
If you’ve been asking yourself the question “does rogaine really work for growing your beard?” and you’ve been a little reluctant to pay the pricey amount for a months worth to test out, worry no more, because I’m going to be your guinea pig lol.

As mentioned in my first beard grow check in (which can be found here: https://youtu.be/D5WPWy5NrZE) I said that I would be testing out rogaine for beard growth to see if it can help me get a thicker fuller beard and in my second check in (which can be found here: https://youtu.be/im7VD2mIfrI) I said I would be doing an extra video this week of me actually using rogaine for facial hair, along with the Watermans Grow More Elixir. So here it is.
Whether rogaine foam is actually going to work for me, I’m not sure yet. What’s more important though is understanding this product, what it was made for and what to actually expect from it and seeing as I don’t have any rogaine results to show you just yet, I think it’s the perfect place to start.
So how does rogaine work? The shortest and most simply answer to this question is there main ingredient in rogaine foam for men is Minoxidil. Minoxidil is a medicine that essentially blocks DHT. DHT is the hormone mainly responsible for male pattern baldness and is prone to attaching itself to the hair follicles around the crown, temples and front hairline. This foam is designed for daily use and is actually quite expensive.
The other thing to note is rogaine/minoxidil is not a product that is going to magically make more hair follicles grow on your face. This is pretty much impossible without a hair implant. By using rogaine, you can expect the hair follicles that already exist in the area you apply it to become thicker and more dense giving the illusion of “more hair” but it will not make more hair if that makes sense lol.
I think this misconception comes from others looking at several positive rogaine reviews and getting an inflated idea of what the product does by looking at the rogaine before and after shots that a lot of people put out there.
It’s really important to understand this first so your expectations are not too high.
Next touch point, is rogaine for men or women? In short, both. Both men and women suffer from excessive DHT production (men more so than women) however rogaine/minoxidil can be effective for both genders.
Next point, are there any rogaine side effects to look out for? It says not to use this product if you do not have any family history o ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrc-HEdVSv0
