How Long Does It Take To Grow a Man Bun?
Thomas In Action
Hey guys and welcome back for another Hair video.
I just wanted to check in with you and clarify on a question that pops up quite regularly in the comments here on my channel and also every now & then in the facebook group and that question is “How long does it actually take to grow a man bun.”
By the way, if you haven't joined the hair growth community yet, you can do that by clicking here: http://manbunsandmanes.com/
Well, the truthful and honest answer to this is you need to be prepared to spend anywhere from at least 9 months to a year and half growing one. Putting an exact time frame on how long it takes is like asking how long a piece of string is. It all depends on the piece of string you are measuring right?
Same goes with hair growth, it all depends on the person growing the man bun as to how long it’s going to take because everyone's genetics are different. Personally, I feel like I’m quite lucky. My hair grows relatively fast and on average during my hair growth process I was clocking in about an inch of new hair every month.
So around the 9 month mark I was able to JUST tie all of my side hair into my disconnected undercut man bun that I already had at the time. And I also tested and tried a shit ton of hair growth products to try and help expedite the process
and the only thing I remotely had any luck with was using a hair growth shampoo from Watermans as most of you will know from my hair growth check-ins that I used to do.
See Watermans Hair Growth Shampoo here: https://amzn.to/3d7gvof
The month that I spent testing that shampoo was amazing, I got an inch and a half of growth and was stoked with those results, but even then, just because it worked really well for me doesn’t mean it’s going to work well for everyone.
I’ve had a few people message me privately and comment publicly on my other socials saying they gave it a go and got great results and some say the opposite. So just to reiterate, there’s no cemented time frame that you can expect for this. All you can really do is search the internet for different things to test out during your journey and one by one, give them a go.
You’ve literally got SOOO long to try SOOO many different things it’s ridiculous. And especially with what’s going on in the world right now, there seems to be no better time to give it a go, right?
So overall, buckle in and prepare to spend at least 9 months to a year and half on this journey.
And if you really wanna follow through with the whole process, do yourself a favour & join an online community like Man Buns & Manes. We’ve got over 4,000 guys in there currently growing their hair out and there’s so much good advice and positive energy going around in there it’s crazy.
It’s literally one of my favourite p ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJb-rwWKmO4
