Grooming My Beard For the First Time in 3 Months - Beard Grooming 101

I did film this a little while ago, I just hadn’t gotten around to putting the footage together until now so I’m sorry for the beard grooming delay!

I mean, as long as the global pandemic that’s going on right now isn’t affecting you from going anywhere.

Ok, now where was I? Oh yeah, mens beard grooming. So I’m no professional when it comes to a well groomed beard but I do have a pretty good handle on what I like to call my inner style compass which enables me to take a pretty good guess as to what beard grooming styles, hairstyles and even clothing styles are going to suit me.

I usually listen to this instinct first before I go off an look for inspiration from others because more often than not, what works for someone else doesn’t always work for me and I find myself tweaking other peoples versions of things to suit my own personal style. SO in light of that I thought I’d use the same methodology in terms of how to groom a beard.

On top of that, I do just want to say if you feel more comfortable taking inspiration from others on how to groom your beard, there is also nothing wrong with that. I guess it just comes down to personal preference and if that is the case for you I would strongly recommend you go and check out Greg Berzinsky from Beardbrand. He has some epic beard grooming tips that I’m sure will help point you in the right direction. I initially went to him for tips on beard growth and the best beard products but he also does a lot of grooming content as well so it won’t hurt you to go and check him out.

So with all that said, this video is pretty much me just listening to my inner style compass and going at my beard for the first time in 3 months. Sorry the quality isn’t as good as my normal videos but it still illustrates what I wanted to convey.
