Newegg wants you to spend $60 more for an RX 6900 XT.... because reasons

I manage to get two orders placed for RX 6900 XTs. Yay!! It was my birthday weekend, must have been good luck. But one of those orders was a NewEgg Combo that was discounted $20 with a $20 rebate on a PSU. NO worries, I can use the PSU in another build. But NewEgg decided to upcharge the Gigabyte GPU by $100 in the process, making an extra $60.
What can consumers do against this blatant price gouging? While it is not as reprehensible as scalpers, it is a clear Anti-Consumer practice. And this isn't the first time NewEgg has been caught doing this. It seems every CPU and GPU refresh cycle, they pull out this same playbook.

I for one am focusing my purchasing towards BestBuy who seems to have good bot protection and at least a reasonable Customer approach to ordering.
