Functional parts from a 3D scanner? - Creality Ferret Pro 3D

I have seen many videos using 3D scanners to make things that are 3D printed but few if any that make actual functional parts. In this video I make something very simple and common that would take quite a bit of time to make in a CAD program but it pretty simple with this little 3D scanner from Creality. It is called the Ferret Pro and once I got some software updates and learned to use it, I was pretty successful in replicating a real world part.
