Building a DC power monitor (part 2)

This is part 2 of my project to build my own DC power monitor that can simultaneous measure volts and amps, calculate power and record capacity and energy numbers, using an INA219 chip and a Raspberry Pi Zero. The main topic of this video shows the steps to setup the Raspberry Pi and my efforts getting a LCD display and push buttons to work properly. With this setup, I made a first breadboard version of Powermon that can actually do measurements and display them on the LCD display. I used this first version to do some accuracy measurements and the results were quite interesting.
You can find code and wiring for all parts on my Github pages below. At the time of posting only part1 and 2 actually exist, but I will add the data for the other parts when they become available.
