Back up your data

You should back up your data. Whether it’s the cherished memories stored as photos on your phone, or your important documents on your desktop, having a spare copy is of utmost importance in our digital age. While the gold standard of backups is the 3, 2, 1 method, that being three copies of your data, in two different mediums, and one stored offsite, much like dieting something is better than nothing, so just having an external drive you have a copy of your most important stuff on, or a cloud storage provider, or a little home NAS - something is better than nothing. And keep it up to date - if you can’t automate the backup process, set a reminder to do it regularly so you don’t lose too much if something goes wrong. And remember, no matter what, you should back up your data.
