How to Unsend and Delete Snapchat Messages - New Feature June 2018
Techboomers
Finally! A new Snapchat feature allows users to unsend messages sent in chats so that the recipient is unable to read them. Learn how to make use of this awesome new Snapchat feature by watching this quick and easy tutorial video.
In order to use this feature, you have to act quickly to ensure that you’re able to delete the message before the recipient reads it. You can only unsend messages sent within chats, you cannot unsend regular picture or video snaps. The steps are the same for both Android and iPhone.
To unsend a message within a chat conversation, open the conversation you want to delete a message from. Then tap and hold on the message to open a pop-up menu. From the options that appear, tap Delete. To confirm that you want to unsend the message, tap Delete in the window that appears. You can use this method to unsend anything sent in a chat on Snapchat (even Bitmojis!)
You will have to individually unsend each message if there are multiple messages you want to erase. Once you’ve deleted the chat a message will appear letting the recipient know that you’ve deleted a chat, so although they won’t be able to read what you sent, they’ll know that you sent something and deleted it.
