To disallow people from sharing notes on your Instagram posts, open the Instagram app and go to your profile. Tap the menu icon in the top right corner. Then scroll down and select Sharing and Remixes. Tap the switch labelled Allow Notes on Posts and Reels. When the switch turns grey, notes are now turned off on your posts. Currently you can only disable Notes on your own posts, so you may still see notes posted by your friends on other people’s posts.
