How to Set Up Auto-Reply Messages for Do Not Disturb Mode on iPhone

Tired of being interrupted with message notifications on your iPhone when you’re busy with a meeting, driving, or doing anything where you can’t be on your phone? Don’t want to leave your friends wondering why you aren’t responding? Watch this tutorial to learn how to set up auto-replies in Do Not Disturb on iOS.

To begin, open your iPhone settings and select Do Not Disturb. Scroll down to the bottom and select Auto-Reply. Now, type out the auto-reply message you’d like to have automatically sent if someone messages you while you have Do Not Disturb enabled. When you’re finished, tap Back in the top left corner. To choose who can be sent that message, select Auto-Reply To. Then, choose who you’d like to be able to receive your auto-replies: No One, Recent Contacts, Favourites, or All Contacts.

Once you set this up, any time you have Do Not Disturb enabled and someone sends you a text message, they’ll receive your auto-reply so they know you’re busy and you’ll get back to them later.
