How to Save Photos and Videos on Snapchat

Have you taken an awesome photo or video using the Snapchat camera and want to save it before it disappears? Watch this video to learn how to save photos and videos from Snapchat.

To set up your Snapchat saving settings, open Snapchat and tap your profile picture or Bitmoji in the top left corner. Then tap the settings icon. Select Memories. Then select Save Button. Here you can choose whether you want Snaps you save to be saved to your Snapchat Memories, your Memories and your camera roll, or just to your device’s camera roll. Tap the arrow in the top left corner to go back. If you’d like photos and videos you share to your Snapchat story to be automatically saved, tap Auto-Save My Story Snaps. Then select Auto-Save to Memories.

To save a photo or video you’ve taken on Snapchat, tap the downwards arrow button to save. This must be done BEFORE sending. An exception to this is that you can save Story posts after sharing them, but before they expire.
