How to Hide Threads Replies with Custom Word Filters

To create a custom word filter on the Threads app, open Threads and go to your profile. Then tap the menu icon in the top right corner. Select Privacy. Then select Hidden Words. Here you can enable filtering for replies that contain offensive words, as well as custom words or phrases that you set. Tap On. Now tap Manage Custom Words and Phrases. In the text box at the top, type in a word, phrase, or even an emoji you would like to hide from replies. If you want to add multiple words or phrases, simply add a comma between each one. Then tap Add. At any time you can come back and add or remove words from this list. Once you’ve set this up, any replies to your threads posts containing these words or phrases will be hidden.
