Doctor Ameer Ali, a trained Economist and an Educator at Murdoch University, was interviewed by TamilNet in May 2018 when he visited the island. He was stressing that the secular academics and grassroots cultural activists to engage in forging unity between the Tamils and the Tamil-speaking Muslims in the North-East.
