EMU SP-12 Vintage Drum Machine. Default Sounds and Programming Demo.
I start by playing each of the sounds at various pitches. I then build up a beat sound by sound, programed in real time (not step time).
The EMU SP-12 is the classic 80s drum machine used in hip-hop and many dance tracks. It's Hard edged and very smooth 12-bit sound (with high quality D/A convertors which make all the difference), cuts through a mix. This is why it is still sought after today.
