Who invented calculus? | Isaac Newton vs. Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz

Well, the answer to the question depends on who you ask. A German or an Englishman, since two of the most famous scientists of their respective nations are in question. One is Isaac Newton (1642 - 1726) and the other is Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz (1646 - 1716), although nowadays the notation of Leibniz is used.
