The Rendlesham Forest incident is also known as Britain’s Roswell. In December 1980, a UFO was reported to have landed in Rendlesham Forest, England, near a U.S. military base. Several U.S. Air Force personnel, including deputy base commander Lieutenant Colonel Charles I. Halt, claimed to see things they described as a UFO sighting and claimed to have had close encounters with the object.
