The Simple Things - Hemorrhagic Stroke Recovery
Stroke of Madness
The Simple Things - January 16, 2020
It's been 50 days since Lidia has had a hemorrhagic stroke.
A stroke can affect the way your brain understands, organizes, and stores information. This is known as cognition. You could find it difficult to concentrate or remember certain things. You may also find it difficult to work out how to do something or know how to respond to what’s going on around you. This is what people mean when they talk about cognitive problems or cognitive impairment.
For the first time since her stroke, Lidia got hold of the remote. She was quite proud of herself for figuring it out. It is the simple things that bring us joy. I think now, she's in charge of what we watch.
We hope that you enjoy the video. Please feel free to support Lidia in her recovery by giving us a big thumbs up, sharing, and subscribing.
