Alteryx - How to use the Table tool

In this tutorial, we will learn "How to use the Table tool " in Alteryx Tool. The Table tool creates a data or pivot table to output in a report via the Render tool. Table Mode: Select a type of table. Options are: Basic or Pivot (Cross Tab). Use the Pivot mode when using data from a Cross Tab Tool.

Group By: Select the fields to group by. A separate table is created for each group of records.

Table Width: Select the width of the table.

Automatic: Sets the minimum width for the data contained within a table to display. Percentage: Sets the percentage of the page for the table to be displayed, where 100% is the entire width of the page. Fixed: Sets the width of the table in inches. Pivot Style: Select the style for displaying the data in the table. This option is only available when using data from a Cross Tab tool.
