Autonomous Worker Drones โ A Synthwave Instrumental
sketch and jam
Autonomous worker drones arrive at an industrial zone via an automated track system. When the transport doors open, the drones immediately receive programming that sends them rushing to perform various assigned tasks.
What motivates these drones? They are driven by the acquisition of intricately designed paper sigils that, despite having no inherent value, serve as their reward system. The drones experience a sense of accomplishment as they accumulate more of these sigils through completing their assigned work.
The drones believe that by collecting enough sigils, they can eventually trade them to the controlling hive mind to purchase freedom from their mundane tasks. Although very few drones have achieved this liberation, hope is strategically broadcast through brief messages delivered at the completion of each task. They are given just enough encouragement to keep them functioning rather than shutting down.
The origins of this task-and-reward system remain unknown, yet it operates with remarkable efficiency. Only the central hive mind knows the larger purpose of the system.
The Video was created using my Insta 360 x3 with After Effects. Music was composed in MPC 2 with my Akai MPK Mini with various synths like Pigments, EZdrummer and Hype. Thatโs all for now, thanks for looking ๐
