Welcome to Ask Gemini AI, a free Chrome extension that allows you to send questions directly to Gemini AI and receive instant responses.

How It Works:

To start using Ask Gemini AI, you first need to insert your Gemini API Key. Here's how you can get it:

1- Go to the official Gemini page on ai.google.dev. 2- click on Get API key in Google AI Studio 3- accept the term and click continue 4- click on Create API key 5- click on copy to copy the API Key

Click the extension icon from the Chrome bar. A popup will appear, click the gear icon to open the Settings. paste the API key in the field. Choose whether to save the last response from Gemini. Enabling this option means that every time you click the extension icon, you’ll see the last answer from Gemini.

To pin Ask Gemini AI to your Chrome toolbar, follow these simple steps:

Click the Extensions icon (the puzzle piece) on the Chrome bar. Find Ask Gemini AI in the list. Click the pin icon next to the extension name to pin it to your top bar for easy access.

Now you're ready to use Ask Gemini AI! There are two ways you can ask Gemini a question:

Method 1: Click the extension icon from the Chrome bar. A popup will appear where you can type your question. Once you're ready, click the "Ask Gemini" button, and you'll receive an answer instantly.

Method 2: Highlight any text on a webpage, right-click it, and choose "Send to Gemini AI" from the context menu. Gemini will process your query and provide an answer.

You can easily copy the response to your clipboard by clicking the Copy button in the popup window.
