Which is a better deal? - Hi-Point .45 or Kimber Custom Crimson Carry II

This sounds like a stupid comparison....but s it? I have had both of these guns for several years. Since I will not review a gun until I have had it a couple of years, it is time to do this comparison. The HiPoint JHP .45 and the Kimber Custom Carry II are designed for two completely different users. Either way, a gun is used for self defense against intruders or wild animals. It needs to work every time. Which one does?
