Re-Upload: NABU Computer CP/M, MSX Games, Homebrew Software, Internet Adapter Updates
Geek With Social Skills
This video was originally published on March 16, 2023, almost a year ago. In the beginning my entire intro including me saying "What's going on my NABUers" like DJ Sures does in his videos was done in jest. The digital image of DJ Sures I have up on the NABU PC when I point at the screen was released by DJ himself along with other images that were digitized for use on the NABU computer.
With the hacked CP/M, I never claimed it to be my own. The CP/M loader is not DJ Sures code. The NabuNetwork.com custom loader software loaded up the hacked CP/M (prior to using open-source IshkurCPM). I did not remove DJ's name from the hacked CP/M. I only added "Visit NabuNetwork.com today!"
After the kerfuffle because of my video and DJ Sures "how to HEX edit" video directed at me, Leo Binkowski and I spoke. He then talked with DJ Sures, and it was mutually agreed upon that we would both remove our videos about HEX editing software which we both did. Since DJ Sures put his video back up today (March 11, 2024), I'm putting my video back up as well for context.
I never released the hacked CP/M I used in this video. It was a placeholder for testing until the open source CP/M I mentioned was ready. Shortly after posting this video originally, the open-source ISHKUR CP/M was ready for prime time, and that's the CP/M still in use with the NabuNetwork.com Internet Adapter software today.
If you want a Cloud Based CP/M for your NABU Computer, use DJ Sures software. If you want an open source CP/M solution for your NABU PC that works with a lot of different NABU PC Internet Adapter software available, use IshkurCPM.
