Apple II Karateka flipping the disk upside down - Broderbund (1984)
Geek With Social Skills
In a recent viewer comment on my Apple IIc flat panel color display video I was asked a question about my original Karateka game disk:
"Wait - that's an original Karateka disk, and you didn't try to boot the flip side?"
I replied: "Yep, it's an original Karateka disk. I never even thought about trying to boot the flip side. Let me go do that now and report back in a follow up comment."
After my reply, I went ahead and tried it. I was really surprised at what happened, so I decided to make a video showing the outcome. Enjoy!
Thanks to Jordan Mechner for programming this Easter egg into the original Karateka for the Apple II computer. Karateka published by Broderbund in 1984.
