The European Race has a Unique and Special Connection with Animals

Under the leadership of Adolf Hitler, Germany became the first country to enact Animal Protection and Anti-Cruelty Laws in 1933.

The laws prohibited Cutting tails and ears of dogs. Regulated the shoeing of horses. Banned traps and the use of dogs for hunting. Made force-feeding chickens and fowl illegal. Outlawed vivisection of rabbits and all lab animals. And abolished the cruel practice of Kosher slaughter.

Göring prohibited vivisection and said that those who "still think they can continue to treat animals as inanimate property" would be sent to concentration camps.
