Wargames Movie Review - The First Hacker Movie Ever

Wargames movie review from the Salty Nerds has them marveling at the wonders of 1980s computer technology and how relevant this movie has become once again with the current state of world events.

Wargames is the first appearance of both Matthew Broderick and Ally Sheedy in a feature film, and tells the story of a crafty computer hacker who finds his way into the military's most powerful computer system and almost starts WWIII because he thinks he's playing against a video game company.

This movie has far-reaching effects, due to Ronald Reagan and Congress actually passing the first cybersecurity legislation because of what they saw in this film.
