Matrix 4 Was A Dumb Idea - The Matrix Resurrections Review

The Matrix Resurrections review from the Salty Nerds has them asking - who the heck asked for this movie?

The original Matrix trilogy told a complete story and had a pretty definitive ending. The idea that a fourth movie was needed simply boggles the mind. In fact, the Nerds speculate that director/writer Lana Wachowski simply had to go back to her one successful franchise because all her other movies have been huge flops.

Unfortunately, The Matrix Resurrections is probably going to be yet another huge flop for the Wachowskis. This was a movie no one wanted, no one asked for, and no one cares about. Matrix Resurrections falls far short from the awesomeness of the original Matrix movie, and even fails to be better than the two lackluster sequels!

Ironically, this nostalgia bait film is filled with clips from the better original movies, making it feel like a "clip show" from an old TV series. This film was a disaster from start to finish and was an absolute flop in the theaters.
