Day in the Life of a Content Curator
Robert's Theory
A day in the life of a content Curator can be filled with joy and care. A Creator is a person who brings something into existence, while a Curator is someone who takes care of what the Creator brought into existence. The Curator is the one collecting and filtering the art of the Creator, arranging it so that it makes sense so that it can be both flexible, interesting, thought-provoking, and informative as well. I remember I started curating stuff a few years ago when I discovered a small simple web app at the time, called Evernote.
I used that initially as a personal journal, and then I tried expanding the utility of it and started saving all sorts of random pieces of thought, articles, interesting conversations I had, photos. I was also using multiple physical journals at that time, scribbling random things, doodling, messing around.
But later I realized that I was actually building a personal library. This is my essay.

Who am I:
I spend my evenings making YouTube videos and writing articles about tech, productivity and philosophy. I have a lot of dumb ideas. I tend to write them down and then revisit them from time to time. Sometimes, the world and/or my own understanding of it has moved enough to where it can now be taken to a new place.
I also write a weekly email newsletter that contains some quick thoughts + links to interesting things I found while digging the internet (https://kbottle.substack.com/welcome)
If youβd like to talk, Iβd love to hear from you. Tweeting @robsblanc directly will be the quickest way to get a response, but if your question is very long, feel free to email me at knowthebottle@gmail.com
