Can October 7 Be Justified?

While the world is busy saying that “nothing can justify October 7,” it is turning a blind eye to the countless war crimes committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip. Palestinian lawyer and political activist Diana Buttu doesn’t shy away from clearly saying where this has gotten us: “[...] the world tells us that nothing can justify October 7, and yet everything Israel has done can be justified by October 7.”
