Raw Coding
Source: https://github.com/raw-coding-youtube/beginner-blog-aspdotnet2 In this episode we set up IIS on our local machine along side with an SQL Server. We then deploy our Blog to IIS and make sure it targets the new SQL server on our machine and that the Default App Pool has access and permissions to the Database and the folders to where the application is located.
Download SQL Server https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/ssms/download-sql-server-management-studio-ssms?view=sql-server-2017
Download SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/ssms/download-sql-server-management-studio-ssms?view=sql-server-2017
If you don't want to install SSMS, you can do the same steps in the SQL explorer in Visual Studio but that may cause some issues.
