Tailwind CSS vs Bootstrap-Is it time to switch?
Ray Villalobos
In order to celebrate the release of my latest course on Tailwind CSS, I'm doing a live stream on Tailwind vs Bootstrap because I think you need to know when it's the right time to switch to this new CSS library. One of my most popular other courses is Bootstrap Essential Training, so I'll be able to go through the differences and my opinions on both.
Tailwind CSS takes a new approach to building projects called the Utility first approach, which means that you can create an entire site that looks unique without writing a single line of CSS.
Unlike Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS has no classes for components like carousels, cards, accordions, etc. What it does have is responsive, grid and Flexbox classes that control how everything looks without having to touch a style document.
