tinkering with attiny13 (and a couple of related things)

Today I decided to spend a bit of time getting more familiar with a chip I hadn't played with before - the attiny13 micro-controller. These aren't super powerful, but they are super cheap (I got the DIP version for about $1 each. The SMD version is even cheaper.)
Turns out they're pretty easy to use, and you can do some fun stuff with them.
I also wandered off into a couple of other things at the end. That happens when you're exploring sometimes.
