Switch to the Loofah Sponge, help the Planet and protect your health!

The Loofah sponge (Luffa sponge), an alternative to industrial sponges

Did you know that your go-to sponge is stuffed with toxic and eco-toxic chemicals? and you are using these to clean your dishes (that you use for eating) and maybe even using them to wash your body?

To show this, I even made a little experiment of my own... results are quite scary... Not really eco-friendly: you can see how these must be bad for health and bad for the environment!

This is why I present an amazing alternative: The Loofah (AKA Luffa).

Today, both my kitchen sponge and my bathroom sponge are a kind of large cucumber: Yes , you read well, a cucumber; a special type of cucumber called a loofah. And it does the job very effectively!

It is organic, so you must clean it regularly though to avoid bacteria growth (let it to dry after every use, and place it in boiling water at least once a week)

I know, this is not strictly Physics, but sometimes it's nice to talk about other things, don't you think? Expect a few non-physics videos from time to time...
