Q & A: A question I get a lot is what is the exact number of keywords for Mid-tail keywords? It's 3 and that includes the buyer intent keyword. The reason why I say 2-4 keywords is because in very competitive markets, it's almost impossible to rank for a three-word phrase. It would take forever. So technically, 4 words or more is a long-tail keyword phrase.
