Meta Model NLP
In 1975, Richard Bandler and John Grinder, co-founders of NLP, released The Structure of Magic.
Within this book, the Meta Model made its official debut and was originally intended to be used by therapists.
It ended up becoming an integral part of NLP and has found widespread use beyond the clinical setting, including business, sales, and coaching/consulting.
Disclaimer: Transformational Grammar has largely been abandoned by modern linguists. However, this does not invalidate the practical application of the Meta Model. I will be doing a follow-up video in the future with a modern rendition of the Meta Model with a more modern linguistic underpinning.
