Why We Are No Longer Using Hybrid Frameworks

Note: This video is my opinion only. I'm not saying you should not use Ionic-- just that I am not. I make hundreds of apps for my clients and we relied on Ionic heavily in the beginning. We are still updating those apps. I have fears and concerns about it (they are still valid today) but most have not been an issue. I base this on the concerns of others I have read. Many people are accusing me of using click-bait or spreading fear and uncertainty. If you disagree with me (and many do) please let us know in the comments. I've pinned Max's comment to the top. If you are not running a development company, you'll be fine. Ionic is great. I say great things about it here. If you have a different opinion, I'd love to hear it. But don't let this video stop you from using Ionic.

Why we are no longer using the Ionic Framework (The Daily Overpass #276)

Today, I talk a little bit about my love of the Ionic Framework and why we are not using for new projects. I talk about how Apple’s Guideline 4.2.6 (which does not apply at all to Ionic) still spooked me. I could be wrong, of course, but this is my opinion.
